Terms of Service

Effective 4 August 2026 · applies to NetWorth+ for Android and iOS

In short. NetWorth+ is a record-keeping tool. It is not a bank, a lender, a broker or a financial adviser; it never connects to your bank and never holds or moves money. You own everything you put into it. You must be 18 or over. The full detail is below, and the companion Privacy Policy covers what happens to your data.

1. Who we are and what this is

NetWorth+ (“the Service”) is a personal finance tracking application operated by NWP Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms govern your use of the Service. By creating an account you accept them.

2. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must be at least 18 years old to use NetWorth+.

3. Account registration

To access the Service you must create an account using an email address. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. What NetWorth+ is not

NetWorth+ is a record-keeping and tracking tool. It is not a bank, a payment service, a lender, a broker or a financial adviser. It does not connect to your bank, does not hold or move money, and does not execute transactions. It does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

If you are looking for what the app actually does and how, the feature pages describe each part of it in plain terms.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the Service (“User Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your User Content for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you.

We do not use your User Content to train models, to build advertising profiles, or for any purpose other than delivering the features you use.

6. Shared expenses and other people

The Service lets you record expenses shared with other people and settle balances with them. When you add someone as a contact, create a group, or record a shared expense, the other person can see your display name, your email address, and the shared entries that involve them.

You may also choose to share a single account with someone, in which case they see that account's name and current balance and may include it in their own net worth. Sharing is always your explicit act and can be withdrawn.

Apart from what you have chosen to share, other users cannot see your accounts, balances, budgets, goals or transactions. Only add people who have agreed to share expenses with you, and only enter information about them that you are entitled to enter.

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or to the Service.
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
  • Upload or distribute viruses or harmful code.
  • Use the Service to harass another user, or to record data about a person who has not agreed to share expenses with you.

8. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Service and its content are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without prior written consent.

9. Third-party services

The Service is built on third-party infrastructure, listed in Privacy Policy §7. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability or availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Accuracy disclaimer. NetWorth+ records what you enter and what it extracts from messages you allow it to read. Amounts, balances and currency conversions may be incomplete or wrong; SMS text varies between banks, parsing can fail, and exchange rates are indicative. Always verify against your official bank statements. Do not make financial decisions on the basis of NetWorth+ alone.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to the Service or its users. You may close your account at any time; see how to delete your account.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify users of significant changes in the app. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
